• William Beard LMSW

    Bill Beard brings over 29 years of experience to his practice, specializing in Bipolar Mood Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and domestic violence. Bill provides individual, group and marital therapy, and has completed two years of the Lay Ministry Program.

  • Victoria Bouckaert, MA, LPC, LBSW

    Ms. Victoria Bouckaert specializes in women's issues, particularly self-esteem, domestic violence, sexual assault and other abuse issues. Victoria is experienced in both individual and group therapy with adults, and is specially trained in the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder.  Trainings include two Ten-day Intensive Training Courses in Dialectical Behavior Therapy in 2005 and 2008.  Victoria is both the DBT Team Leader and In-House DBT Program Coordinator.  Victoria has also attended completed training in the supervision of Limited Licensed Professional Counselors seeking full licensure.

    Tamara Gandy LMSW, ACSW

  • Ms. Tamara Gandy has 20 years of experence working with adults, childrenand teens and their families.  In the past five years her emphasis has expanded to working in the substance use/addiction and anger management.  She also has significant experience in dealing with depression and anxiety.  Tamara has facilitated a variety of groups and classes.  She prefers a family approach that motivates a change for all menbers.

  • Helen Paquin MA

    Mrs. Paquin earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University and a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University. She has four years of experience working with dually diagnosed Clientele and is a Michigan State Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor. Helen has specialized in the fields of mental health and substance abuse in the residential and outpatient treatment settings. Helen is DBT trained. She is able to provide individual, family and group therapy services to a broad range of Consumers. She is proud to join the MPBA treatment team.

  • Carol Robinson MA, LPC

    Ms. Carol Robinson brings many years of life experience to her role as a therapist, having changed career paths later in life. She has over seven years of experience treating patients in the areas of sexual assault, mental health, and sexuality issues. Carol graduated from Victims' Assistance Academy, and has completed various other training seminars to stay on the most current edge of treatment methodologies.

  • Cynthia K. Soto, LMSW ACSW CAC-1

    Mrs. Soto graduated from Wayne State University with her Masters Degree in Social Work in 1994 where she concentrated on clinical social work with children and families. Cynthia began her social work professional experience after graduating from SVSU in 1988 when she specialized in substance abuse prevention, treatment, and trainings. Cynthia has since worked in a variety of settings, including residential and outpatient substance abuse and mental health facilities. She also has a background in Medical Social Work and Student Assistant Program Consulting. Her interest in eating disorder began 18 years ago when she was a behaviorist for an eating disorder program.

    Cynthia has received trainings in multiple areas with expertise in treating adults and adolescents with Co-Occurring, Eating, Mood, and Anxiety Disorders but is very comfortable treating patients of all ages with any of the Axis I and II Disorders. Cynthia also has a passion for family therapy, group therapy, as well as individual therapy. She is a believer in evidence based practice and a huge proponent of the Integrated Dual Disordered Treatment Program and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

  • Theresa Weaver MA, LPC

    Ms. Theresa Weaver received her masters degree from Oakland University in 1993. Since then she has been working in the psychiatric field specializing in the areas of chronic and terminal illness, adult trauma, treatment of depression and anxiety, life adjustment issues and communication skills. Theresa is certified in EMDR treatment.

  • Rosanne Wild MSW, LMSW

  • Ms. Rosanne Wild has over nine years of experience as a therapist, working with all age groups, including the geriatric population. Additionally, Rosanne has significant experience working with victims of domestic violence; rape and sexual abuse, and trauma and loss. Rosanne provides both individual and group therapy services.

  • Letty Slates, MSW, LLMSA

  • Ms. Slates earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University and a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University.  She has several years providing case management experience to county residents in areas of basic needs, financial crisis intervention, and domestic violence.  She is able to provide individual therapy services to a diverse range of consumers including the Hispanic and military population.
